The funny thing about Alice Kingsleigh is that she's, well… a bit mad. Not in the angry sort of sense, but in that she's complete bonkers. She's all the way 'round the bend. Off her rocker. But then, all the best people are, aren't they? Because the only way to do the impossible is to believe that it is
possible. Alice's father believed that, and so does she. Alice will always be the kind of person to challenge what is believed to be impossible. And if her history - and that of her father's - proves anything, it's that Alice Kingsleigh can very well do the impossible.
One thing Alice hates is societal norms, especially from her time and country. She's had to hear what is "proper" for a lady of her stature ever since she was small. And she simply just doesn't like it.
Therefore, she firmly believes that she doesn't have to do it. In fact, Alice firmly believes that you should only do what you enjoy and feel comfortable doing. And she won't submit to people telling her what she should and shouldn't do, especially now after her second visit to Wonderland. If you tell her what she's doing is silly, she'll simply scoff decisively and continue to do it. And if you try to command her to do something, she will look you straight in the eye and tell you she'll do as she pleases.
Alice has a very strong will and a stiff backbone. It used to be when someone berated her for being herself, she'll be too perplexed at the very fact that she was berated to even stand up for herself. But after her recent adventures in Wonderland, she's learned how to stand tall and take charge. She certainly won't back down to anyone and is willing to do and say whatever it takes to make sure she has the freedom she desires. Of course, Alice is also a very empathetic young woman, as well. She's quick to defend her friends and stand up for those who can't on their own. Alice even found the strength to take a stand against the Red Queen for the whole of Underland, rising as the White Queen's Champion. She knows when she's pushed someone too far and also when to apologize for it.
The young woman also has quite a fanciful imagination, too. And it's something she oft times finds hard to control. She enjoys daydreaming fleeting fantasies and brief and amusing delusions. She's quite a very fun-loving person and is always willing to mix things up a bit. If she finds something boring, she'd rather move on to more engaging entertainment than endure and drone on in the same thing. And she's perfectly willing and open to sharing her fantasies with those around her, looking to revel in the fun she has with her friends and family. Alice even frequently delves into thinking up as many impossible things that she can make possible before she's even had her morning breakfast.
But, though she's fine with sharing her fancies with her company, Alice is a rather introverted person. She's incredibly soft spoken and very rarely speaks up when she isn't directly addressed. She's rather one for lending an ear than offering a voice… or simply just daydreaming until she's found some fun she can have. But when she is addressed, she can be very engaging. Alice enjoys very pleasant conversation with just about anyone, as long as they're agreeable. On the contrary, Alice would much prefer to spend her time in the company of fair-hearted people than terrible or morbid individuals.
One thing many people don't expect from Alice is her wit and deceptive streak. The woman can be ever so deceitful if she wants and is more than willing to bluff and blackmail to get want she wants. The thing about being a quiet and introversive person is that one often goes unnoticed when they want to. And Alice can see quite a lot about a person, some very shifty dirt that she's fully capable of using against them. She's also shown to be able to trick others, like when she infiltrated Salazen Grumm as 'Um from Umbridge'. Alice can be subtle in her motions and very secretive when she so desires.
Curiously, everyone in Underland seems to view her a bit differently. Not too terribly different, but noticeably so. Alice is a very complex individual, even beyond how she thinks and feels. There's more to her than her world is really able to see. But everyone in Underland can see all of it. Therefore, the way some residents of Underland see her may alter. Because she's never Just Alice.
But Alice's best quality is her Muchness. She's coy, clever, creative, and crafty. But she's nothing without being Muchier than the whole of Underland. She's got a good heart and cares for others, even if she may not even know them. She challenged the Red Queen, slayed the Jabberwocky, and saved Wonderland. Her courage and ferocity and heart are what constitutes her Muchness. And boy, does she have much of it!History: click

Probably due to her Muchness, Alice is a surprisingly adept combatant. Though, she's had no training in swordsmanship, she handles the Vorpal Blade very well and can take a bit of a beating. She's got inherent skill on the battlefield and has a very high intuition in a fight. She's good at staying aware of her body and is also fairly strong. She was capable of standing against the Jabberwocky on her own (for the most part) and was even able to behead the reptilian beast completely.Perspective:
What sets Alice apart from others in Underland is her Muchness. Because she's much more Muchier than anyone in Underland. Everyone in Underland follows the path set out for them by the Orraculum. Except Alice. Alice forges her own path. She controls her own destiny and travels where and how she wishes. And there isn't a power in this world or Underland that can stop her. Alice is able to… change her perspective, the way she sees the world. It's a skill she's yet to fully develop, but it's quite a feat, even for the residents of Underland. If something looks vaguely like a staircase, it might very well be one for Alice. A painting could appear like a door or a ceiling like a floor. When Alice changes her perspective, the world changes around her to suit this new perspective.Weapons/Equipment:Vorpal:
he Vorpal Blade and its legendary armor. This sword is the only weapon capable of killing a Jabberwock of Underland. It has a sentience of its own in that it chooses its wielders and it knows exactly what it wants. It assists its handler in battle, the wielder of the Vorpal Blade will find the sword unwilling to leave their grasp in the heat of battle and intentionally seeks out its sworn enemy. The armor is also incredibly durable and won't crack or mar without extreme force. The Vorpal Shield has power in its own right, though not nearly as much so as the Vorpal Blade. The Shield is sturdy enough to protect against the fiercest of the Jabberwocky's breath without fail; though, it does not have the same will to stay with the chosen Vorpal One as its offensive counterpart.Upelkuchen/Pishsalver:
The food of Underland can have quite unusual properties. Two in particular are the pastry dish known as Upelkuchen and the drink called Pishsalver. Both require a hand in alchemy and botany to produce and have quite peculiar recipes in their make. Upelkuchen - usually crafted as small pastries or cakes - have the ability to enlarge a person's size when consumed; the more you eat, the bigger you get. On the flip side, drinking Pishsalver decreases your size. Alice has a bit of both ready on-hand, in case she ever needs to alter her body's proportions.Bandersnatch:
A very large creature halfway between a pig, a feline, and a horse. It spent most of its life in captivity under the Red Queen until Alice broken into Salazen Grumm to rescue the Mad Hatter and escaped upon its back. Ever since, it has been a very loyal companion and steed to Alice. It has a very dangerous venom and the ability to Evaporate; disappearing and reappearing someplace else.Inheritance:
Though the Kingsleigh Trading Company was bought out by Charles Kingsleigh's friend as business partner, it is still a very expanding enterprise run effectively by Lord Ascot. And after her adventures in Underland and gaining the courage she needed, Alice Kinglseigh has become Ascot's apprentice and partner. She is training under her father's friend so that she can one day run the company herself. And the Kingsleigh Trading Company has followed Alice through the rifts. She has all of the resources it offers as well as the business opportunities.Physical Weaknesses:
Though the whole of Underland seems to work hard to help her, Alice is still very much mortal. She has no immunity to any of the hazards of either her world nor Underland; and should she suffer from a fatal wound, she would surely die. She may be the Vorpal's chosen one, but she is still entirely human.Psychological Weaknesses: "Curiouser and curiouser…":
Alice has… a bit of an uncontrollable curiosity. Once something's piqued her interest, Alice has a burning desire to sate her curiosity. This can lead to… fairly dangerous situations, among other things. And even when she knows she shouldn't do something, even when she tells herself not to over and over and over again, she still cannot resist acting. Even when every instinct she has is screaming for her to do the opposite, she'll push on out of sheer stubbornness and curiosity. And she always immediately berates herself over whatever course of action she took."When in doubt, remain silent…":
Having an incredibly overactive imagination can have its ups and downs, sometimes extremely so. Sometimes, Alice will say or do the wrong thing without meaning to. Other times, her quirkiness with distance people from herself. And there are moments where her intuitive nature draws in the wrong crowd. The worst part is, a lot of times Alice does these things without intent, without even realizing she's doing it. She'll space out, imagining what it's like to fly in the air and trip people over. Or she'll dangerously offend something with an idle whimsy. It's a very bad habit that she just can't seem to break.Other:
